My first foray into copywriting began at age six when my best friend and I would mute the television during commercial breaks and ad lib our own announcer copy. A decade and a half later, I joined the creative department at the full-service agency, Serino Coyne, where I worked on ads for Broadway shows and other award-winning performing arts clients for over five years.
After receiving my C1 language fluency certification in Catalan (no, it's not a dialect of Spanish), I moonlit as the first Executive Director of the Catalan Institute of America, where I managed communications in English and Catalan and planned events large and small, including Sant Jordi festivals and a Manel concert in Chinatown.
In 2016, I returned to my alma mater, Columbia University, to develop content for fellow alumni as an Associate Director of Marketing for Columbia College Alumni. I also write, design and consult freelance for select clients, including NowThis branded content and small business owners, as well as develop lettering and voiceover work.
I am trained in classical ballet and hip hop and have been a volunteer for DOROT meal package delivery and friendly visits to the elderly since 2013.
